Job Title: Vice President of Sales

Donald's Fine Foods is a leading specialty meat procurement, processing, and distribution company seeking an experienced Vice President of Sales to join our senior executive team.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building and leading high-performing sales teams, driving revenue growth, and developing strategic sales plans. As a key member of our leadership team, you will contribute to the development and implementation of our corporate strategy, ensuring alignment with our core values of customer focus, integrity, people, quality, and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of sales strategies, methods, costs, and results.
  • Develop and implement business plans for the sales and marketing department, establishing short- and long-term goals, objectives, policies, best practices, and operating procedures.
  • Ensure consistent and profitable growth in sales revenues through positive planning, developing specific plans and KPIs to drive revenue and margin growth in each product category, major accounts, and market segments.
  • Train, develop, and manage sales and marketing teams, overseeing staffing requirements and ensuring proper onboarding and training.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews for direct reports, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to enhance sales and overall earnings.
  • Develop and manage sales and marketing budgets, researching and identifying opportunities to improve short-term and long-term sales and overall earnings.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 10 years of experience effectively managing sales and marketing teams.
  • Experience in the retail food or food-manufacturing industry, with a strong understanding of products, services, capabilities, customers, and current markets.
  • Bachelor of Commerce or equivalent with a focus on sales and marketing.
  • Passion for continuous improvement, ability to inspire and lead a sales and marketing department.
