The Learning and Development Specialist plays a crucial role in achieving NAIT's strategic goals by developing and administering impactful learning and development systems, programs, and initiatives. This position complements the other Organizational Development and Change Management services provided to the NAIT community.

Reporting to the Director of HR Operations (Workday Transformation HR Lead), this role focuses on elevating the employee learning experience through Workday implementation. As a key member of the Workday Transformation HR Delivery team, you will:

  • Lead the development and implementation of Learning functionality within Workday.
  • Contribute to the Organizational Change Management Delivery team by developing and delivering training programs related to HR and Finance functionality implementation.

Key Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong understanding of learning and development principles and best practices.
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and Workday is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
