Caregiver for Seniors

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Assisted Living Worker to join our team at Golden Life Management Corporation.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will provide high-quality care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide personal care services to residents, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, mobility, and hygiene-related duties.
- Respond to scheduled and unscheduled requests from residents for assistance.
- Participate in social and recreational programs, including group activities, outings, and special events.
- Perform housekeeping, laundry, and dietary duties as required.
- Assist with dining room preparation and meal service, and tray service to resident rooms as needed.
- Interact with residents, guests, and staff in a courteous and respectful manner.
- Complete required documentation.
- Act as a positive and constructive team player, creating exceptional customer experiences.
- Follow security and infection control policies and procedures.
- Current registration and good standing as a Health Care Assistant with the British Columbia Care Aide and Community Health Worker Registry (BCCACHWR).
- Certificates in First Aid and Food Safe preferred.
- Ability to work nights, 12-hour shifts, and weekends.
- Effective communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as a team-player.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 10kgs.
- Proven computer experience.
- Successful clearance of a vulnerable sector-criminal record check.
- Proof of full COVID-19 vaccinations or approved exemption for an accommodation based on a reason related to human rights.
