About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team at Great Team Logistics. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for safely operating a tractor-trailer combination and transporting goods and materials across various locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Route Planning and Optimization
    • Plan and adjust routes based on changing conditions to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service to clients and colleagues.
  • Vehicle Operations
    • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
    • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and efficiency.
  • Logistics and Coordination
    • Load and unload goods, and perform emergency roadside repairs as needed.
    • Communicate with central dispatch to receive and relay information.
  • Regulatory Compliance
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and laws, including those related to transportation and safety.
Requirements
  • Education and Certifications
    • AZ class license.
  • Experience and Skills
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
    • Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Judgement and organizational skills.
  • Work Environment
    • Willing to travel for extended periods and work in a physically demanding environment.
