Your Role at GEI Consultants, Inc.
GEI Consultants, Inc. is in search of motivated professionals eager to contribute to the ongoing success of our land development and water resources division. This role will be instrumental in supporting our engineering practice, focusing on a variety of projects in the land development sector. Our Markham, Ontario office is engaged in a diverse array of projects, including residential, industrial, commercial, and municipal developments.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist Project Managers throughout the lifecycle of residential subdivision projects, from initial design to construction and final acceptance.
- Conduct conceptual, preliminary, and detailed engineering design for various land development initiatives.
- Collaborate with technical resources within the land development team as project requirements evolve.
- Prepare and review engineering drawing sets, technical memoranda, reports, construction plans, and specifications.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 1 year of relevant industry experience.
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
- Proven experience in the engineering design of residential subdivisions and site plan developments.
- Familiarity with standard analysis software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant applications is preferred.
- Demonstrated strong work ethic and high motivation levels.
- Experience in drafting and reviewing technical documentation.
- Dedication to achieving technical excellence.
