Job Title: Flooring Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Flooring Specialist to join our team at S TURNA RENOVATION AND PAINTING INC.

Job Summary

The Flooring Specialist will be responsible for installing, inspecting, and repairing flooring in commercial and residential settings. This role requires strong attention to detail, physical stamina, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and measure surfaces to be covered
  • Read blueprints and specifications to determine work requirements
  • Measure, cut, and fasten underlay and underpadding
  • Prepare flooring plans and scheduling
  • Install resilient floor coverings
  • Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings
  • Conduct moisture, pH, temperature, and other tests prior to flooring installations
  • Estimate costs and materials
  • Prepare floors for installations
  • Remove existing floor coverings and contaminants
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience
  • Commercial, residential, and various locations
  • Ability to distinguish between colors
  • Hand-eye coordination
  • Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, judgment, organized, and team player
Work Environment

The Flooring Specialist will work in a fast-paced environment with varying temperatures and physical demands. The ideal candidate will be able to lift heavy loads, bend, crouch, and kneel regularly.
