Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Junior Project Manager/Estimator to join our Service division in Victoria. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating aspects of the construction process, including RFI's, procurement, scheduling, commissioning, and O&M manuals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate project communications with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Develop project schedules, review contracts, estimate changes, purchase materials and equipment, and manage the project financial performance.
  • Develop / assemble start-up submittals and other project documentation.
  • Engage with contractors, engineers, architects, and vendors to ensure project success.
  • Work with foreman and site superintendents to review project documents and discuss labor requirements and staffing.
  • Collaborate with the Safety Manager and on-site team to ensure safety on site is our top priority.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of previous project management or estimating experience in a related industry.
  • Basic understanding of contract law, project management, and estimating.
  • Electrician TQ, Electrical engineering degree, diploma, or other relevant education is a strong asset.
  • Proficient in MS Office and experience with AutoCAD, Accubid, MS Project are an asset.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
