About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Market Researcher to join our Business Aviation team at Skyservice. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data related to aircraft valuation, buyer and seller behavior, market trends, and technical assessment of aircraft.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct market research and analysis using various tools and programs to identify key trends and provide competitive intelligence on market dynamics.
  • Identify key markets to drive potential sale volume and build out pipeline (sales forecasting).
  • Conduct and track market industry evaluations to inform business decisions.
  • Develop data models and reporting tools to drive business insights through regular reporting and follow-up with the Sales team.
  • Proactively provide analytical and technical guidance to support sales efforts based on deep understanding of the business and changes in the business aviation market.
  • Act as primary technical representative for audits of aircraft for potential purchase and/or sale; partner with Sales team as subject matter experts.
  • Manage projects pipeline to ensure agreed upon timelines are met.
Requirements
  • Post-secondary education in Marketing/Data Analysis, Business Administration, or similar is required.
  • 2-3 years' experience in private or business aviation is required.
  • Understanding of private jet types is a must.
  • Strong analytical skills; able to organize and interpret data and create visual results.
  • Highly resourceful, can work well autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Exceptional computer literacy and working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and Tableau/PowerBI.
  • Ability to organize high volume of data into visual aids.
  • Working knowledge of CRMs like Salesforce, Netsuite, and Hubspot is considered an asset.
  • Highly organized with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
