Job Summary

Avison Young is seeking a highly skilled Market Intelligence Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our Market Intelligence team, you will be responsible for providing market analysis and insights to support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and track the real estate market for relevant data, including new developments, deals, tenant activity, trends, and infrastructure projects.
  • Conduct advanced searches using internal and external resources to gather market intelligence.
  • Input data into our proprietary database and analytics platform, including lease comps, sales comps, company data cleanup, and property sprints.
  • Prepare statistical and market monitor reports and decks for proposals and presentations.
  • Establish and maintain business relationships with landlords, brokerages, property managers, municipalities, and other commercial real estate companies.
  • Participate in sales/leasing meetings, market discussions, and research conference calls.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Real Estate, Geography, or Urban Planning.
  • At least 1-2 years' experience in residential or commercial real estate.
  • Professional report writing experience is an asset.
  • Strong financial, analytical, research, and presentation skills.
  • Computer proficiency in MS Office, Teams, Word, and PowerPoint, with strong skills in Excel.
  • GIS/Mapping experience is an asset.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills.
  • High level of professionalism and excellent interpersonal skills.
