As a key member of a leading organization, you will drive impactful results for our clients by providing innovative and effective solutions within our Commercial Risk Broking Group at Aon.
Applicants must possess legal authorization to work in Canada. This position does not qualify for sponsorship, and we are unable to provide sponsorship for an employment visa or work permit.
The compensation range for this role is $110,300 - $150,000. The actual salary will be determined based on the candidate's education, experience, skills, and abilities, along with internal equity considerations.

Key Responsibilities
- Engage in meetings with clients and prospects.
- Work collaboratively with clients to formulate coverage strategies and marketing initiatives for renewals and new business opportunities.
- Partner with sales producers to support growth strategies and targeted prospecting efforts.
- Contribute to the development of regional initiatives focused on Casualty & Property coverage lines.
- Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to facilitate the growth of less experienced Brokers within the national team.
- Establish productive working relationships with peers and senior professionals both internally and externally to share information and offer recommendations.
- Assess client-specific risk exposures and outline coverage requirements.
- Prepare and deliver marketing proposals for renewals and new business.
- Negotiate with underwriters to secure optimal terms and conditions regarding premiums and coverage.
- Follow up with insurers to ensure compliance with negotiated contract terms.
- Authorize documentation for new contracts, policy modifications, additions, deletions, and renewals.
- Build and maintain relationships within the underwriting community to achieve favorable premiums and coverage for Aon clients.
- Perform additional related duties as necessary.
Qualifications for Success
- 10+ years of experience in property and casualty with a focus on complex placements.
- Demonstrated knowledge and established relationships with domestic insurance carriers.
- Broker licenses across Canada are mandatory.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to effectively influence clients and insurance companies.
