About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at DAISY MART. As a key member of our store management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our store runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hiring and Training: Recruit, train, and develop a team of sales associates to provide excellent customer service and achieve sales goals.
  • Financial Management: Authorize payments, manage cash handling, and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Scheduling and Workforce Management: Create and manage schedules, coordinate staff activities, and ensure adequate staffing levels.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory levels, monitor stock levels, and implement inventory control measures.
  • Customer Service: Resolve customer complaints, respond to customer inquiries, and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and analyze sales reports, merchandise reports, and personnel reports to inform business decisions.
  • Store Maintenance: Ensure the store is clean, organized, and well-maintained, and that all equipment and facilities are in good working order.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail management role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Working Conditions
  • Permanent full-time position
  • 32 to 40 hours per week
  • English language required
