Job Description for Retail Store Supervisor at DAISY MART

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at DAISY MART. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Hiring and Training: Recruit, train, and develop a team of sales associates to provide exceptional customer service and drive sales growth.
  • Financial Management: Authorize payments, manage inventory, and maintain accurate records to ensure the store's financial stability.
  • Scheduling and Organization: Create and manage work schedules, ensuring adequate staffing levels and maintaining a smooth workflow.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and submit regular reports on sales performance, inventory levels, and personnel matters to inform business decisions.
  • Customer Service and Conflict Resolution: Resolve customer complaints, address supply shortages, and maintain a positive store environment.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory levels, ensuring that stock is accurately tracked and replenished as needed.
  • Team Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales associates, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service and sales performance.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail environment

Working Conditions:

  • Permanent position
  • English language required
  • 32 to 40 hours per week
