Position Overview

Join Vancouver Coastal Health as a Neurophysiology Technologist I

Vancouver Coastal Health is on the lookout for a dedicated Neurophysiology Technologist I to become a vital part of our Electroencephalography (EEG) unit. We are committed to providing outstanding patient services and require skilled professionals to help us achieve this goal.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform a variety of diagnostic assessments, including EEG and Evoked Potentials.
  • Document findings and generate detailed technical reports for the medical team.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, physicians, and other healthcare practitioners.

Qualifications:

Education & Experience

  • Completion of a Diploma of Technology in Electrophysiology, accompanied by a minimum of one year of relevant experience.
  • Certification from the Canadian Board of Registration of Technologists.

Skills & Competencies:

  • In-depth understanding of electroneurophysiology principles and applications.
  • Effective communication skills to interact with diverse stakeholders.
  • Expertise in executing diagnostic procedures and operating associated equipment.
  • Proficient in computer applications, including word processing and spreadsheet software.
