Job Title:

General Manager - Membership Organization

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled General Manager to lead our membership organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the organization, developing and implementing strategies to achieve our goals, and ensuring the effective management of our resources.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement organizational policies and programs
  • Authorize and organize the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions
  • Co-ordinate the work of regions, divisions or departments
  • Establish objectives for the organization and formulate or approve policies and programs
  • Represent the organization, or delegate representatives to act on behalf of the organization, in negotiations or other official functions
  • Select middle managers, directors or other executive staff; delegate the necessary authority to them and create optimum working conditions
  • Establish financial and administrative controls; formulate and approve promotional campaigns; and approve overall human resources planning
  • Administer programs of membership organizations
Requirements:
  • 5 years or more of experience in a senior management role
  • Proven track record of success in leading and managing teams
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
