Job Responsibilities:
The selected candidate will undertake routine testing and procedures within the Hematology and Transfusion Medicine Laboratory. Flexibility to work across all shifts, including Days, Evenings, Nights, and Weekends, is essential.
Required Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Laboratory Technologist program
- Registered and in good standing with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Ontario
- Proven experience and understanding of quality assurance and laboratory best practices
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- High level of initiative and self-direction
- Excellent organizational capabilities
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Recent experience in Hematology and Transfusion Medicine is preferred
- Availability for all shifts is mandatory
- A satisfactory attendance and performance record is required
