Job Title: Landscape Labourer

We are seeking a skilled Landscape Labourer to join our team at DRQ Services Ltd. As a key member of our outdoor maintenance team, you will be responsible for assisting with landscape constructions, tying and securing plants, and performing various tasks related to lawn care and garden maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with landscape constructions, including laying sod or seed, planting bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees.
  • Tie and secure plants, ensuring they are properly anchored and secure.
  • Weed, prune, and trim trees and plants to maintain a neat and tidy appearance.
  • Cut grass and rake and collect refuse to keep the outdoor areas clean and well-maintained.
  • Remove litter and garbage, and cart and spread topsoil and other materials as needed.
  • Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment, including mowers, trimmers, and other tools.
  • Perform snow maintenance operations, including handling snowmaking and snow removal equipment.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, with repetitive tasks and heavy loads.
  • Attention to detail and hand-eye coordination.
  • Ability to distinguish between colors and work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Flexibility, reliability, and a strong work ethic.
