At Jardeg-Construction, we are seeking a skilled Ironworker Journeyperson to join our team in the Maintenance and Turnaround group. This is an expression of interest for future opportunities within the group.

The ideal candidate will have experience in erecting and installing scaffolding, construction cranes, derricks, and other hoisting equipment. They will also be responsible for assembling rigging (cables, pulleys, hooks) to move heavy equipment and materials, as well as assembling and erecting pre-fabricated metal structures.

The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to safety practices and protocols, as well as excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. They will be able to work efficiently in a team environment and independently as required, and will have effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and project stakeholders.

The minimum requirements for this position include a Journeyperson Ironworker (generalist, structural or ornamental) certification, proven experience as a Journeyperson Ironworker, and comprehensive knowledge of ironworker materials, tools, and installation techniques. The preferred requirements include aerial work platform, first aid, and WHMIS certifications.
