Accounts Receivable and Treasury Specialist

As an Accounts Receivable and Treasury Specialist, you will be responsible for executing monthly accounts receivable and cash reconciliations, conducting bank reconciliations, and analyzing discrepancies. Your role will also involve performing month-end processes, providing support to clinics, and assisting with audits and special projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generating monthly reports on outstanding accounts receivable and cash reconciliations for clinics.
  • Collaborating with clinics to address outstanding issues, offering guidance and support.
  • Recording monthly revenue and cash journal entries accurately.
  • Investigating discrepancies between the point of sale and financial systems.
  • Completing bank reconciliations for approximately 30 bank accounts and following up on unresolved items.
  • Processing patient refunds efficiently.
  • Carrying out various month-end procedures, including preparing or approving manual journal entries and compiling working papers.
  • Analyzing and reconciling discrepancies between the general ledger, sub-ledgers, and systems.
  • Providing coaching and support to clinics.
  • Assisting with audits, special projects, and ad hoc tasks as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in accounting or accounts receivable.
  • 1-2 years of experience with accounts receivable and bank reconciliations.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Experience in a high-volume environment with a solid understanding of accounting principles.
  • A post-secondary diploma or certificate in Accounting is considered an asset.
  • Familiarity with ERP Systems (NetSuite is a plus).
  • Excellent time management, attention to detail, and communication skills.
  • Bilingualism in French and English is an asset.
