Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Administrative Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing new administrative procedures, reviewing and evaluating existing procedures, and delegating work to office support staff.
Key Responsibilities- Administrative Support
- Implement new administrative procedures to improve efficiency and productivity
- Review and evaluate existing procedures to identify areas for improvement
- Delegate work to office support staff to ensure tasks are completed on time
- Project Coordination
- Co-ordinate and plan for office services such as accommodation, relocation, equipment, supplies, forms, disposal of assets, parking, maintenance and security services
- Assist in the preparation of operating budget and maintain inventory and budgetary controls
- Reporting and Data Analysis
- Assemble data and prepare periodic and special reports, manuals and correspondence
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records
- Supervision and Training
- Supervise and train office support staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties
- Resolve conflict situations and provide guidance and support to staff
- Education
- College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent
- Experience
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in an administrative role
- Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
- Work Environment
- Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail
- Physical Demands
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to lift and move objects up to 25 pounds
