System Integrity Manager

FortisBC is seeking a strategic thinker to lead the System Integrity team in developing, implementing, and improving asset integrity management activities. As a Manager, System Integrity, you will oversee the team to ensure alignment with our organization's goals and industry regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities- Identify areas of opportunity in current asset integrity management activities and develop solutions for improvement.
- Maintain fiscal responsibility by managing the System Integrity Operations and Maintenance budgets within provided guidelines and targets.
- Develop short- and long-term plans to align with corporate strategic objectives, acknowledging the changing energy environment for all System Integrity programs.
- Mentor team members to assess short- and long-term resources and ongoing technical capabilities of the department to meet requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related discipline from an accredited university, plus a minimum of eight to 12 years of recent and related experience within a regulated utility environment.
- Registered with or eligible for registration as a Professional Engineer with Engineers and Geoscientists BC.
- An equivalent combination of education, related training, and experience may be considered.
- Demonstrated ability to lead a culture change and manage teams through a forward-thinking approach.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to adapt business plans and risk tolerance into departmental goals and plans.
