Visiting Lecturer

Position Overview:

The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff is seeking qualified candidates for the role of Adjunct Instructor within the Department of Social and Behavioral Sciences. This position involves teaching introductory courses either in-person or through online platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement course syllabi, lectures, and assignments.
• Facilitate engaging in-class discussions and evaluate student performance through grading of papers, quizzes, and exams.
• Assess student grades based on class participation, assignments, and examinations.

Qualifications:

Applicants must possess a minimum of a master's degree along with 18 graduate credit hours in a relevant subject area. Previous experience in a university-level teaching role is required, along with strong skills in classroom management, communication, and organization.
