Position Overview:

The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff is seeking a dedicated Adjunct Instructor to join our esteemed Department of Social and Behavioral Sciences. This role involves teaching introductory courses either in-person or online, fostering an engaging learning environment for our diverse student body.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement course syllabi, lectures, and in-class discussions.
  • Evaluate student performance through grading assignments, quizzes, and examinations.
  • Provide constructive feedback to students to support their academic growth.
  • Assess student grades based on participation, assignments, and overall performance.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of a master's degree with at least 18 graduate credit hours in a relevant field. Previous experience in a teaching capacity at the university level is essential, along with strong classroom management and communication skills.
