We are seeking a skilled and experienced Carpenter to join our team at All Canada Contracting & Renovation Ltd. as a key member of our construction team.
Key Responsibilities- Estimation and Planning: Prepare detailed estimates of labour and material costs for construction projects, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company standards.
- Site Management: Schedule and coordinate work on construction sites, ensuring timely completion of projects and maintaining a safe working environment.
- Carpentry and Joinery: Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials to create high-quality construction components.
- Installation and Finishing: Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware, ensuring precise fit and finish.
- Team Support: Participate in company programs and initiatives that support newcomers, refugees, youth, veterans, and Indigenous people, promoting diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in carpentry and construction.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
