About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Fitness Instructor to join our team at HERCULES GYM LTD. as a key member of our fitness and recreation team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Event Coordination: Assist with the coordination of recreational, sport, and fitness events to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for our members.
  • Program Planning: Plan and carry out recreational, fitness, and sports activities that cater to diverse interests and abilities.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and repair sports equipment to ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Reporting: Prepare reports on program participation, attendance, and other relevant metrics.
  • Leadership: Lead and instruct groups and individuals in various fitness and recreational activities.
  • Client Support: Provide lifestyle awareness information and assist clients/guests with special needs.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that health and safety regulations are followed at all times.
  • Supply Management: Assemble supplies, sports, and game equipment as needed.
  • Activity Monitoring: Monitor recreational, sports, or fitness activities to ensure safety and provide emergency or first aid assistance when required.
Working Conditions
  • Work Setting: The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced fitness centre environment.
  • Supervision: The candidate will be working under the supervision of a senior team member.
  • Teamwork: The candidate will be part of a dynamic team and will be expected to work collaboratively with colleagues.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience in a related field is an asset.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
  • Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
