Job Summary:

The Upper Grand District School Board is seeking a qualified French Immersion Grade 1/2 Teacher to fill a Long Term Occasional position. This is a 0.9 FTE opportunity that requires a teacher with a strong background in French as a Second Language (FSL) and primary education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach French Immersion Grade 1/2 students in a dynamic and engaging classroom environment
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
  • Collaborate with colleagues to promote a positive and inclusive school culture

Requirements:

  • Valid Ontario teaching certification
  • Strong background in FSL and primary education
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
