About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team at Loblaw Companies Limited. As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of construction and store execution projects, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage entire project lifecycle, including site work, base building, and fixturing of new and renovated stores.
  • Ensure store cleanliness and safety for employees and customers.
  • Monitor critical path items for compliance and surface exceptions to senior management.
  • Implement Loss Prevention programs.
  • Prepare preliminary and final construction budgets and phasing plans.
  • Collaborate with senior management and operations to implement their needs and requests.
  • Coordinate with contractors, sub-trades, suppliers, and consultants to ensure effective project execution.
  • Schedule all project aspects, including coordination with fixturing and set-up manager.
  • Ensure projects are coordinated in an organized manner, minimizing operational disruptions and customer inconvenience.
Requirements
  • Post-secondary education in Construction/Project Management or a related field.
  • Experience in retail project management/merchandising and construction is an asset.
  • Proficiency in computer systems, including Microsoft Office, with the ability to learn new programs.
  • Autonomous and self-motivated individual.
  • Experience with SAP systems is an asset.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Flexible hours and ability to travel between regions.
  • Fluency in both French and English, both verbally and in writing.
