Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Shift Manager to join our team at McDonald's Restaurant. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food quality meets our high standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of our restaurant staff, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively.
    • Train and develop our staff to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide excellent customer service and to maintain high food quality standards.
  • Operations and Logistics
    • Establish and implement efficient systems and procedures to manage our restaurant's operations, including inventory management, scheduling, and customer service.
    • Ensure that our restaurant is clean and well-maintained, and that our equipment and facilities are in good working order.
  • Customer Service and Quality Control
    • Ensure that our customers receive exceptional service, and that their needs are met in a timely and efficient manner.
    • Monitor and maintain high food quality standards, ensuring that our food is prepared and presented to our customers in a way that meets our high standards.
  • Financial Management
    • Prepare and manage our restaurant's budget, ensuring that we are operating within our financial targets.
    • Monitor and control our restaurant's expenses, ensuring that we are getting the best value for our money.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role.
  • Work Environment
    • Noisy work environment.
    • Exposure to odours.
  • Work Setting
    • Fast-paced work setting.
  • Physical Demands
    • Combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
    • Standing for extended periods.
