Job Summary

We are currently seeking a qualified Substitute Teacher to join our team for the 2024-2025 school year. The ideal candidate will possess a vibrant Christian faith, demonstrating the leadership of Jesus Christ, and be able to integrate Biblical values into all subject matter.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach students using lessons, discussions, and audio-visual presentations provided by the classroom teacher.
  • Effectively communicate with students, parents, and staff.
  • Work collaboratively with other teachers and support staff as a member of a professional learning community.
  • Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor of Education or equivalent.
  • AB Interim Certificate, AB Letter of Authority, or AB Permanent Certificate.
  • Fluent in English.
  • A strong understanding of a balanced literacy program and brain-based learning strategies.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • A personal statement of faith.
  • Professional and pastoral references.
