About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Cleaning Services Assistant to join our team at Jyllikleen Cleaning Services. As a Cleaning Services Assistant, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture, clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, disinfect operating rooms and other areas, clean and disinfect elevators, and pick up debris and empty trash containers.
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Recruit newcomers and/or refugees who were displaced by a conflict or a natural disaster, and support them with foreign credential recognition.
  • Support for Youths: Offer on-the-job training tailored to youth.
  • Support for Visible Minorities: Apply hiring policies that discourage discrimination against members of visible minorities, and offer mentorship programs that pair members of visible minorities with experienced employees.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 30 hours per week.
