Job Title: Truck Driver

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Truck Driver to join our team at Alliance Transport Ltd.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a tractor-trailer to transport goods and materials across various locations. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a tractor-trailer: Drive a tractor-trailer to transport goods and materials across various locations.
  • Load and unload goods: Load and unload goods from the tractor-trailer, ensuring that all cargo is secure and properly handled.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections: Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the tractor-trailer to ensure that all equipment is in good working condition.
  • Maintain records: Maintain accurate records of cargo, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Communicate with dispatch: Communicate with central dispatch to receive and relay information regarding cargo, routes, and other important details.
Requirements:
  • Valid driver's license: Possess a valid driver's license with an AZ class license and Air Brakes Endorsement.
  • Experience: Previous experience as a truck driver is an asset.
  • Physical demands: The successful candidate must be physically fit and able to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
