Position Overview

Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Finance, this position is pivotal in delivering insights regarding the financial stability of the organization through comprehensive analysis, forecasting, and reporting. The role necessitates close collaboration with both the Commercial/Sales and Corporate Accounting teams.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Management of month-end reporting, analysis, and consolidation of data from various business units to produce monthly financial reports.
  • Assistance in the formulation of the annual budget and ongoing forecasts, encompassing sales, cost of goods sold, and departmental expenditures.
  • Development and upkeep of reports and models to monitor the company's performance throughout the fiscal year, including volume/mix/rate variances and departmental spending.
  • Support for tracking and reporting on productivity cost savings.
  • Act as a reliable financial business partner across all departments within the organization.

Qualifications for the Financial Planning Analyst Role:

  • 2-5 years of experience in a Financial Planning and Analysis capacity.
  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field.
  • Proficient in advanced Excel, essential for consolidating data from multiple sources.
  • Strong foundational knowledge of ERP systems (D365/Business Central, SAP, JDE, etc.).
  • Experience with Power BI reporting is advantageous.
  • High accuracy and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management abilities with a knack for multitasking and prioritizing tasks.
  • Proven track record as a collaborative team player with strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational and planning capabilities in a dynamic environment.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • A creative mindset with the ability to propose enhancements.
  • Criminal record check is a prerequisite.
