Job Title: Home Support Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Support Worker to join our team at Brian Lao household. As a Home Support Worker, you will provide essential care and support to our clients, enabling them to live independently in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals
  • Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene
  • Encourage clients to engage in regular exercise, such as walking
  • Launder clothing and household linens
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • Provide companionship and emotional support
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience an asset
  • Participation in a government or community program or initiative that supports newcomers and/or refugees, youth employment, or Indigenous people
Work Environment:
