Job Title: Senior Regulatory Advisor

Hydro One Networks Inc is seeking a highly skilled Senior Regulatory Advisor to join our team. As a key member of our regulatory affairs team, you will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and advocating for the company's interests before the Ontario Energy Board (OEB) and other regulatory bodies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and review evidence for filing with the OEB in support of Hydro One's transmission and distribution applications.
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies to influence emerging rules and modify existing rules in the best interest of the company and its customers.
  • Work with other departments to ensure consistency with past proceedings, OEB codes and guidelines, and Hydro One's current business plan.
Requirements:
  • Four-year university education in business administration, commerce, or engineering, or JD/LLB.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to manage a group of multidisciplinary team members to meet tight filing deadlines.
  • Experience with the regulatory process in Ontario through participation in evidence preparation or review of Hydro One rate or generic applications before the OEB.
  • Strong project management skills to ensure timely approval of applications.
  • Ability to communicate effectively to make effective presentations to internal and external stakeholders and committees.
