Position Details
This is a full-time role with shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, and eligible for shift differentials.
We are seeking experienced operating room (OR) nurses who are vital members of our high-performing teams, committed to delivering exceptional patient care. Our OR nurses leverage their expertise, compassion, and dedication to evidence-based practices, functioning at an advanced level of nursing.
- Skilled clinicians with extensive experience in patient care, possessing a deep understanding of specific patient populations.
- Regularly apply knowledge, theory, research, and experience to adapt to clinical changes. May serve as Charge Nurse when designated and orient staff or students in the absence of a preceptor.
- Capable of implementing the Synergy Model for Care, personalizing care for each patient and family.
- Focus on cost containment while advocating for patients based on their conditions.
- Identify and execute appropriate actions in non-routine situations, seeking assistance for complex issues when necessary.
Minimum Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program with at least 12 months of recent nursing experience within the last five years, or recent completion of a re-entry nursing program.
- Possession of a valid, active, unencumbered nursing license or temporary permit approved by the Georgia Licensing Board.
- BLS certification is required; ACLS certification may be necessary in specific departments.
