We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Aide to join our team at Bay Haven Care Community.
Job Summary:The Nursing Aide will provide high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a difference in the lives of others.
Responsibilities:- Provide personal care to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assist with feeding and serving meal trays
- Take vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature
- Supply and empty bed pans
- Make beds and maintain residents' rooms
- Transport residents in wheelchair or stretcher
- Answer call signals and respond to residents' needs
- Collect specimens and administer first aid as needed
- Provide companionship and engage residents in activities
- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Certificate
- First Aid Certificate
- CPR Certificate
- Nursing Aide Certificate
- Criminal record check
- Immunization records
- Tuberculosis test
This is a permanent, full-time position with a 30-40 hour workweek. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to lift, bend, and stand for long periods.
