At Spark Power, we are seeking a highly skilled Regional Operations Supervisor - Solar Farms to lead our operations and maintenance team in the Northern Ontario region. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our solar farms, overseeing the activities of our technicians, and providing support to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide oversight and support of field technicians for maintenance tasks.
  • Develop and implement maintenance plans to ensure optimal performance and safety of our solar farms.
  • Collaborate with our Asset Managers and lead technicians to plan and execute service and maintenance of our assets.
  • Provide up-to-date information to the management team on the status of our operations and any areas for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant safety protocols and regulations.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Post-secondary education in a relevant field (e.g. electrical or mechanical engineering) an asset.
  • ABET/EAC certification will be considered an asset.
  • 309A Journeyman license an asset.
  • Knowledge of Canadian Electrical Code (CEC).
  • Valid Driver's License with a suitable driving record.
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn.
  • Computer and digital literacy (proficiency with mobile apps and various software: Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Report writing).
  • Electrical and mechanical aptitude.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to be a positive contributor to a team environment.
  • Customer-focused attitude with an ability to represent Spark Power positively and professionally on customer sites and within the community.
  • Firm commitment to safety.
  • Passionate about renewable energy.
  • Ability to work overtime.
