Position Overview: This role is based in our Vancouver office and operates in a hybrid model, requiring a minimum of three days per week onsite. You will lead a skilled team of Immunology researchers to create an innovative and sustainable pipeline in Immunology, targeting autoimmune diseases from inception through IND.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and manage the immunology portfolio strategy while achieving departmental scientific and pipeline objectives.
  2. Coordinate cross-departmental activities in collaboration with R&D PMO to ensure strategic alignment and resource efficiency.
  3. Evaluate and review project plans and data, providing scientific and organizational guidance for the department.
  4. Mentor and cultivate talent, offering performance feedback, training opportunities, and exposure to new assignments.

Qualifications:

  1. PhD with over 10 years of relevant experience in the biotech/pharmaceutical industry, particularly in immune oncology and/or immunology.
  2. Demonstrated history of scientific innovation and achievements, evidenced by publications, patents, and conference presentations.
  3. Extensive research expertise in Th2-associated biology.
  4. Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to mentor and develop high-performing teams.
  5. Proficient in addressing complex scientific challenges with practical research plans.
  6. A self-motivated individual with a strong scientific curiosity, creativity, analytical skills, and high ethical standards.

Compensation: The Canadian base salary range for this full-time position is $135,000 - $207,000, plus bonus, equity, and benefits. Individual pay is determined by various factors, including job-related knowledge, education, training, skills, and experience.
