We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pharmacy Assistant to join our team at Lawtons Drugs in Upper Tantallon, Nova Scotia. As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient-centered care and exceeding patients' expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process customer transactions and release prescriptions
  • Receive and process refill requests, and record deliveries
  • Understand and promote pharmacy programs
  • Refill and autofill processing of prescriptions, ordering, and replenishing supplies
  • Drug order creation, receiving, and pill pack assembly
  • Scheduling professional clinical services
  • Behind the counter management, cycle counts, narcotic counts, stock returns, and tall man lettering
  • Assist the pharmacist with dispensary tasks as permitted by scope
Requirements:
  • Previous customer service experience is preferred
  • Excellent attention to detail, ability to multi-task, and work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Adhere to and implement all applicable company standards
