A Day in the LifeAs a Glazing Project Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring labour target rates are set and managed. You will communicate with the project team on a daily basis, establish and maintain relationships with internal teams, external suppliers, and customers. You will identify potential conflicts and negotiate best solutions, and be the main point of contact for assigned scope of work.
You will take the lead on project kickoffs, hand offs, and autopsy meetings with the project team. You will work with Safety, Site Supervisor, and Foreman to ensure all Safety measures are in place. You will pre-plan the execution of projects and develop a schedule with the project team. You will develop, track, and negotiate change orders, and be responsible for time, cost, and overall project performance.

What We Are SeekingWe are seeking a candidate with a minimum of 3+ years' experience in a Project Manager role in a commercial construction industry, particularly in curtain wall construction. You should have an education in a civil engineering or building science program, or a related educational field. Knowledge of the curtain wall/glazing industry is considered an asset. You should be proficient in MS office package, including MS Project, and have strong blueprint reading skills.
You should have strong organizational and communication skills, and strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. You should have strong negotiation skills, and the ability to multitask and work in a team environment. You should be located in Edmonton, AB, and be available for full-time employment.
