Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team in the Medicine Hat region. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing projects from conceptualization to completion, working closely with clients and contractors to ensure successful project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Management: Oversee all aspects of projects, including detailed design, cost estimating, client communications, and contract administration.
- Team Leadership: Work with other design staff to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Client Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure their needs are met and exceeded.
- Contract Administration: Administer construction contracts to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Field Work: Conduct field work as required to ensure project progress and quality.
- Reporting and Proposals: Prepare technical reports and proposals to support project delivery.
Requirements
- Professional Qualifications: Professional Engineer designation in Alberta (APEGA) or Professional Technologist designation through ASET.
- Experience: 5 years of relevant experience in Civil Engineering and 1 year of experience in Project Management.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Personal Qualities: Must be responsive and self-driven.
