Job Title: Pharmacy Technical Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technical Assistant to join our team at Yarborough Ventures Ltd.

Job Summary:

The Pharmacy Technical Assistant will be responsible for providing administrative and technical support to our pharmacy team. This includes ensuring the accuracy of prescription information, maintaining inventory of medications and pharmaceutical products, and preparing medications for clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the accuracy of prescription information
  • Maintain inventory of medications and pharmaceutical products
  • Prepare medications for clients
  • Clean and maintain equipment
  • Compound, package and label pharmaceutical products
  • Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies
  • Billing third party insurers
  • Compound oral solutions, ointments and creams
  • Maintain inventories of medications and prescription records of pharmaceutical products
  • Order supplies and equipment
  • Organize and maintain inventory
Requirements:
  • College/CEGEP education
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience
  • Fast-paced environment
  • Repetitive tasks
  • Manual dexterity
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to distinguish between colours
  • Standing for extended periods
Work Environment:

The Pharmacy Technical Assistant will work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will be able to multitask, work independently, and as part of a team.
