Bakery Team Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bakery Supervisor to join our team at HWM Stores (2016) Ltd. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for overseeing the production of high-quality baked goods, managing staff, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and train bakery staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food
- Prepare and bake mixed dough and batters according to recipes or special customer orders
- Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies
- Inspect kitchen and food service areas to ensure quality and safety standards are met
- Operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently
- Organize and maintain inventory of ingredients and supplies
- Oversee sales and merchandising of baked goods
- Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
- Hire and train staff as needed
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a bakery or related field
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean and safe working environment
The Bakery Supervisor will work in a fast-paced bakery environment, with frequent exposure to heat, noise, and physical activity. The successful candidate must be able to stand for extended periods, lift heavy loads, and work in a team environment.
