Job Summary

The Home Depot Canada is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Night Operations Assistant Store Manager to join our team. As a key member of our store management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the night operations of our store, ensuring that all aspects of the business are running smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruitment and Talent Management
    • Recruit, interview, and select candidates for open positions
    • Make recommendations to the store manager regarding hiring, promotions, demotions, and terminations
  • Associate Development and Training
    • Coach and train associates on job performance and provide feedback
    • Develop and implement training programs to improve associate skills and knowledge
  • Operational Excellence
    • Manage and oversee the night operations of the store, including receiving, freight, and inventory management
    • Ensure that all areas of the store are clean, organized, and well-maintained
  • Safety and Compliance
    • Ensure that all safety protocols and procedures are followed
    • Conduct regular safety audits and investigations
  • Customer Service
    • Provide excellent customer service and ensure that all customers receive a positive experience
  • Reporting and Analysis
    • Prepare and analyze reports on sales, inventory, and other key performance indicators
  • Other Responsibilities
    • Perform other duties as assigned by the store manager
Requirements
  • Experience
    • Minimum 2 years of management experience
  • Skills
    • Excellent customer service skills
    • Good communication and interpersonal skills
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Education
    • High school diploma or equivalent required
