Key Responsibilities- Store Operations: Supervise and lead the sales team to achieve sales and profit goals, while maintaining a high level of customer service and store appearance.
- Team Management: Hire, train, and develop sales associates to achieve their full potential, and ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide excellent customer service.
- Inventory Management: Oversee the receipt, storage, and display of merchandise, ensuring that stock levels are maintained and that the store is well-stocked and visually appealing.
- Merchandise Operations: Lead and manage the merchandise operations, including receiving, stocking, and displaying merchandise, as well as maintaining a high level of visual merchandising standards.
- Customer Service: Ensure that customers receive excellent service, and that their needs are met in a timely and professional manner.
- Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to the sales team, and ensure that they are equipped to handle customer inquiries and concerns.
- Store Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance of the store, including cleaning, repairs, and maintenance of equipment and fixtures.
- Experience: 2+ years of retail management experience, preferably in a similar role.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Skills: Excellent communication and leadership skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and strong problem-solving skills.
The Assistant Store Manager will work in a fast-paced retail environment, with frequent exposure to customers, sales associates, and other store staff. The position requires standing for long periods, moving throughout the store, and lifting heavy boxes and equipment.
