About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at New Nugget Restaurant. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dining room and kitchen areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with cleaning and sanitizing kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces.
  • Help with food preparation, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruits.
  • Operate dishwashers and assist with washing and sanitizing dishes, glassware, and flatware.
  • Replenish condiments and supplies in the dining area.
  • Participate in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Assist with receiving, unpacking, and storing supplies in refrigerators, freezers, and storage areas.
  • Help with removing kitchen garbage and trash.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience an asset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs) and stand for long periods.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
  • Repetitive tasks.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
