Position Overview

Baxter's Bakery is seeking a dedicated Pastry Chef to join our team. This role is essential for creating high-quality baked goods that meet our customers' expectations.

Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in a similar role.
Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare dough for various baked items including pies, bread, rolls, and pastries.
  • Order and manage inventory of materials, equipment, and supplies.
  • Bake a variety of doughs and batters to perfection.
  • Handle special customer orders with care and precision.
  • Decorate cakes and other baked products to enhance presentation.
  • Train and mentor junior staff members.
  • Ensure product quality meets established standards.
  • Conduct inspections of kitchen and food service areas for cleanliness and safety.
  • Operate baking machinery and equipment efficiently.
