Become an integral part of the finance department at BMW Group Canada and contribute to the overall success of the organization. As a Finance Trainee reporting to the Accounting Manager, your role will encompass a variety of financial tasks associated with Retail Finance, Commercial Finance, and Accounts Payable sectors. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Generating journal entries and financial statements
  • Assisting in the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities
  • Supporting the preparation of audit documentation and liaising with auditors
  • Recognizing system challenges and proposing effective solutions
  • Working collaboratively with other departments to enhance operational efficiencies
  • Serving as a resource for Accounts Payable operations
  • Engaging in special projects and financial analysis

Qualifications

  • Familiarity with accounting software and reporting tools is beneficial
  • Experience in preparing and reviewing account reconciliations is a plus
  • Excellent communication, analytical abilities, and meticulous attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • A positive attitude and eagerness to learn
