Job Title: Cleaner

About the Role:

Dexterra Group is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. As a Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our clients and employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strip, wax, and clean floors to a high standard
  • Move furniture and clean carpets
  • Complete work to a high quality standard
  • Work at various locations
  • Read and explain MSDS sheets (training provided)
  • Complete required safety training

Physical Requirements:

  • Work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to bend, turn, stoop, stand, reach high and low, lift and carry up to 25 lbs. for 3 to 4 hours per shift
  • Perform repetitive manual tasks
  • Walk large areas of floor space
  • Maneuver large machinery successfully

Qualifications:

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Collaborative team player with a keen eye for detail
  • Intrinsic self-motivation driving high-quality work
  • Thrives in hands-on environments and readily follows direction
  • WHMIS certification preferred (training available if needed)
  • First aid training advantageous
