About the Role

Dexterra Group is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Janitorial Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and organization of our workspaces.

Key Responsibilities

  • Stripping and waxing floors to a high standard
  • Cleaning carpets and relocating furniture as needed
  • Completing tasks to a high quality standard
  • Working at various locations as required
  • Reading and explaining Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS)
  • Completing required safety training

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Physical stamina to perform repetitive manual tasks
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds for extended periods
  • Good physical and mental health

Requirements

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Collaborative team player with attention to detail
  • Intrinsic motivation to deliver high-quality work
  • Ability to thrive in a hands-on environment
  • WHMIS certification preferred (training available if needed)
  • First aid training advantageous
