Job Summary

As a Recreation Therapy Worker with Interior Health Authority, you will play a vital role in implementing our established Recreation Therapy Program. This position requires a dedicated individual who can work collaboratively within our interdisciplinary team to provide exceptional care and support to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct individual and group leisure/recreation therapy programs, including arts, cultural events, crafts, sports, music, cooking, gardening, and exercises.
  • Organize program spaces and equipment, ensuring a comfortable and engaging environment for residents.
  • Accompany residents on outings, promoting social interaction and community engagement.
  • Ensure resident participation and comfort throughout programs.
